Admission Requirements

To apply for the PhD in Extension Innovation and Development, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • A Master’s degree in Agricultural Extension, Rural Development, Sociology, or related fields, with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • Submission of a 4-5 page concept note outlining your research interests, proposed methodology, and research questions.
  • Proven experience in agricultural or rural development or related research areas.
  • An application fee of  MWK 55,600  (or international equivalent).
